The Udaari actor with boyish good looks and serious acting chops, Ahsan Khan is set to return to television with a game show that he calls “groundbreaking.”

The star told Edition that the show will be fun, light-hearted and activity-based. Sneak peeks have revealed that celebrity guests including Ayesha Omar, Sajjal Ali, Shoaib Malik and ZaidAli will be making appearances on the show – and getting sporty on the sets!

“There is a serious dearth of children’s programming on our screens,” Khan told Edition. “Most of our kids watch Cartoon Network or Disney Channel. We want to make something local for them.”

Though Ahsan Khan, who has previously hosted Ramazan transmissions, kept mum about exactly which channel we can expect to spot the show on he did tell us that it was being produced in partnership with Unilever under the Knorr banner.

So, is Ahsan Khan going to be giving Fahad Mustafa a run for his money?

He says – no.

“This is not a typical game show: a lot of noise, activities and masti!”

COMING SOON TO THE BIG SCREEN

After making waves with his intense portrayal of a child molester in last year’s hit drama serial Udaari, Khan is all set to experiment with lighter characters on the big screen this year. He is expected to appear in three films  of which two are comedies whereas the third one is yet to be announced.

Chupan Chupai is a comedy of errors and stars TV actress Neelam Muneer whereas Rehbara is a romantic comedy and features Ayesha Omar and Sehrish Khan in pivotal roles.
