Calling all film fans: the poster of Rangreza is out! The romantic image of Bilal Ashraf and Urwa Hocane canoodling is super imposed with what seems to be a villainous Gohar Rasheed.

Touted as one of Pakistan’s most expensive films Rangreza, comes from the producers of romantic comedy Janaan, which also starred Bilal Ashraf. The new film is a musical romance in which the contrast between classical qawwali and modern pop music is explored.

First time director Aamir Mohiuddin says that claims, “Rangreza is a movie that will touch millions of hearts. The entire team has put in their best and this will be another significant milestone for the Pakistani cinema.”

The cast features Gohar Rasheed, Bilal Ashraf, Urwa Hocane and Saleem Miraj in the principal cast.

Musical legend, Abida Parveen, features prominently on the soundtrack, composed by the film’s writer, Akhtar Qayyum. The film is presented by Vision Art Films, Usman Malkani Films, Distribution Club (PVT) Ltd, Munir Hussain Films UK and Pepe’s Piri Piri and will be distributed worldwide by B4U Motion Pictures.
