Ever thought you'd live in a world where you could run out of hand sanitizer? Ever think you would need it as much for more than just your hands? Neither did we.

We've got you sorted with a few recipes you could try out at home!

Before we dive into it though, please note: the recipes can sometimes be too complicated for most people, and products that are mixed incorrectly can cause burns or other issues. So safety is key and if you haven't used some of these ingredients before, it's best not to unless you consult a pharmacy to help you make one! The experts say washing your hands with soap and warm water is the best way to protect against COVID-19 so make sure that is key in your daily routine!

The Dettol Spray:

This one's pretty easy and quite simple - perfect to sanitize door handles, knobs, surfaces and anything that comes into your house!

2 caps Dettol (pink or brown liquid)

3/4 Jug of Water

Mix everything into a bottle with a spritz cap and use! Don't over use the dettol - too much of it can get too strong!

The Sanitizing Gel:

3/4 cup of isopropyl or rubbing alcohol (99 percent) 1/3 cup of aloe vera gel (to help keep your hands smooth and to counteract the harshness of alcohol) 10 drops of an essential oil of your choice (lavender, peppermint etc) 5 - 10 drops Vit E oil (optional)

Pour all ingredients into a bowl, ideally one with a pouring spout like a glass measuring container and mix with a sterilized spoon - and then beat with a whisk to turn the sanitizer into a gel. Pour the ingredients into an empty bottle for easy use, and label it!
