The UAE Visa Debate Settled

According to Tahir Ashrafi, chief of the All Pakistan Ulema Council, the UAE visa issue has been resolved.

According to the head of the All Pakistan Ulema Council (APUC) and SAPM on Minister on Inter-religious Harmony the UAE visa issuance matter has been resolved, after meetings and discussions on on the sidelines of the 47th OIC, with Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi.

After meeting to elaborate on relations between Pakistan and the UAE at the embassy, Hazir Tahir Ashrafi told the News about his discussion with UAE Acting Ambassador Rashid Abdul Rahman Al-Ali.

“The visa relating issue has been resolved during the meeting of Adviser to Prime Minister Zulfi Bukhari and UAE Minister for Labour,”

Ashrafi emphasised the importance of maintaining good relations with the UAE and Muslim Arab countries, in order to strengthen ties between them and resolve any misunderstandings through dialogue and reconciliation. The Chief of the APUC stated that the visa issue was solved after a meeting with the Advisor to Prime Minister, Zulfi Bukhari, and UAE Minister for Labour recently.

The United Arab Emirates Ambassador Rashid Abdul Rahman Al-Ali thanked Hafiz Tahir Ashrafi for his visit to the embassy and emphasised on how the 'deep-rooted ties' between both Islamic countries could not be shaken, and would only be strengthened in the future.

SAPM Ashrafi also stated that the stability of the UAE was of the utmost importance to Pakistan, cautioning people to avoid baseless accusations henceforth.
