In conversation with DJ, producer, influencer, artist and, entrepreneur Razzak Noorani.

Razzak Noorani started pursing his passion for music in 2018 and since then his mashups have been featured on Dutch DJ Tiesto’s podcast, he has also made his way onto the Global Top 100s charts. His fun, energetic, and electric music style appeals to music-lovers of all ages.

What motivated you to start producing mashups?

Gyming, running, sports and fitness. Whenever I was running I would be listening to music and I’d think of crazy ideas, I never knew I would execute them. I was in LA, I was 17, I was competing in this football competition and I won a music production voucher kit. And then a few days later I was in Vegas and I saw Calvin Harris performing. I always knew how much I loved EDM and music in general, so I finally decided to start producing after seeing Calvin Harris and watching hundreds of videos of Martin Garrix and Avicii and so many more artists that I love. Making music just makes me so happy and the responses I got from people motivated me to keep going

What inspires you?

What inspires me and will always inspire me is helping people. The reason I started multiple business ventures is to help people in the first place. I want to have a voice and I want to spread awareness for so many different causes, I feel like doing music and starting different businesses allows me to have a voice and help people.

What achievement are you most proud of?

Making it onto the global top 100s charts

What is your music style?

Energetic, uplifting, and happy

What are some recent goals you’ve set for yourself?

Balancing music and my university work side by side and to release my first ever song on Spotify

Do you have any advice for upcoming Pakistani musicians? Keep going and to never stop working hard. Don’t care about what other people say and continue doing what you love doing. It’s so important to stay true to yourself and your passions and to keep going no matter what. No matter how many times people knock you down, just keep going
