Crime Scene: The Disappearing At The Cecil Hotel
When Chinese-Canadian student Elisa Lam goes missing at LA's notorious Cecil Hotel, all kinds of horrifying possibilities arise. This is more than just a whodunit. It is terrifyingly relatable on so many levels that many a single woman will be able to related to. The story telling is a bit stretched out in some places but still a riveting watch. Full disclosure, I watched the whole series in one day.

Conversations With A Killer: The Ted Bundy Tapes
Most of us are familiar with America's most notorious serial killer but this series is a deeply intimate look at the fear that this man inspired and how easily he got with killing women. Hands down, the creepiest part if when the detective relates how Bundy's blue eyes would almost turn black when he spoke of his crimes. The creepiest thing about him was probably how many women actually described him as charming, smart and good looking.
Memories Of A Murderer: The Nilsen Tapes
When human remains are discovered in the plumbing of a small apartment block, Britain's most prolific serial killer, Dennis Nilsen came into the spotlight. He had been killing young for over 5 years without being noticed. The particularly creepy part about this one was how he killed and how he disposed off the bodies.
House of Secrets: The Burari Deaths
When eleven members of a family seemingly kill themselves, the tight knit community swoops in why this this happened. There's some elements of the supernatural but perhaps the most disturbing bit is how close to home it is. It puts a seemingly, wholesome desi family under the spotlight and pulls away at the dark secrets that they foster.
The Sons of Sam: A Descent Into Darkness
An open and shut case right the beginning, the documentary follows one journalist's journey to find the truth behind the murders committed by David Berkowitz. The story is much darker and deeper than it seems to be and is perhaps a precursor to the alleged content available on the Dark Web today.
