Even if it has been said before, I’ll say it again. Serendipity is the most underrated holiday romance movie. We follow Jonathan and Sara through a story that rekindles your faith in humanity for a while and you will appreciate every single moment.

A bit like Dazed and Confused, but then not really. We are still given the interwoven picture of the lives of teens who enjoy a snowy day in a small town and get a little entangled in romance. A feel good film..
The Knight Before Christmas
If you thought the Princess Switch had an unbelievable plot, then this other Vanessa Hudgens flick will blow you away. Filled with magic, characters from the historical middle ages and romance -- you really can’t have a good time watching this movie, even if it is completely absurd.
Sleepless in Seattle
The New York Times described it as "a feather-light romantic comedy" which I can certainly agree with. It is full of tender gentleness. It may not take place exclusively in the holiday season but has earned its place on this list.
Love Hard
Also absurd but in many ways just so emotionally rewarding, this movie features The Vampire Diaries star Nina Dobrev as someone who is very surprised when she flies to surprise her online love interest for Christmas. Generally good for laughs and exaggerated -- the storyline still doesn’t seem that far fetched.
