The undisputed Queen of South Asian film music passed away this morning.

There is no doubt that music and art have no boundaries. Artists transcend man-made borders and often play a crucial role in bridging divides and bringing people together. Certainly, the late Lata Mangeshkar was once such artist.

The legendary singer passed away this morning in a Mumbai hospital where she was admitted after testing positive for Covid 19. She was 92 years old. Needless to say, this send shockwaves around South Asia. Celebrities across Pakistan paid tribute to her unmatched talent as well.
