Living Spaces with Saba Pervez Dada
Studied from Royal Holloway and LSE, Saba Pervez Dada lived for nearly 5 years in the United Kingdom before coming back to Pakistan. She polished her skills working for NaheedMashooqullah for 3 years, before opening her own company called Address.
The drawing room space at Saba’s home is mysterious, dark and modern. Grey is universally considered to be a mysterious color and works great in modern homes.
Saba’s love for sufism is reflected in the whirling dervesh painting. The sectional sofa and coffee tables are by Roche Bobois. The painting is by SadafFarasat from Malaysia. The rug is from Crate & Barrel. The accessories are from Zara Home and Lalique. Lounging Chair by Address. Wall Mirrors by Marina.
Her living room has a rustic feel. It is furnished with a rustic wood & chrome coffee table and a world map wallpaper behind the secitonal sofa. The coffee table holds an immense emotional value for Saba, as it was the first item she had designed and polished herself just before the launch of Address.
Cushions from Andrew Martin. Rug from Afghan Carpets. Coffee Table by Address.
Her dining room is minimalistic and bare modern with a grey cemented wall which boasts a series of Black & White artwork. There’s an exquisite hand-knotted persian rug in navy blue and white in ‘nahine’. The same hues of the navy are found in the dining chair upholstery followed by white and grey which dominates the room’s main colour palette. The mood is again quite modern & mysterious.
The dining table is from Roche Bobois. The rest of the furniture and lighting features are from Address. Rug by Afghan Carpets. Floor Lamp by Address.
