About an hour and half flight from the city of Kuala Lumpur, lies this amazing natural reserve deep in the forests of Kuching. This naturalreserve boasts hundreds of acres of lush green flora, which are open to visitors in the mornings and afternoons for a few hours. The authorities have managed to keep it calm and not too crowded. It has many species of animals but the main draws are the orangutans.
Pavilion Malls
Although malls aren’t generally touted as tourist attractions, the Pavilion Malls’ basement in KL is a complete foodie heaven. With a huge space dedicated to different restaurants and cuisines of the world, it seems more like a giant food festival rather than a food-court. So if you are into international flavors and want to try them all in one go this is the place you should be hanging out at.
Sunway Water Lagoon
This is perhaps one of the lushest water-parks in this entire region. The Sunway lagoon entertainment city boasts five-star resorts and a world-class water park. It may not be the newest kid on the block but it still has the largest artificial beach in the region and countless water rides to splash around in. Don’t forget your sunscreen and don’t take too many gadgets unless you plan to get a locker!
Legoland Johor Bahru
Well, who doesn’t like Lego? This huge, newly opened theme parkin Johor Baru is a few hours from Kuala Lumpur. It contains over 40 rides of various themes and acres of lego to play in with your kids and friends!
