Chinese New Year menu at Dynasty – Avari Hotel

Dynasty at Avari Hotels, Karachi is celebrating the Chinese New Year with a new menu full of delicacies that will leave you yearning for more.

Cooked in authentic Chinese style sans the desi tarka found at most places locally, the new menu has something for everyone. Our flavorsome journey at Dynasty began with crabmeat and fresh green asparagus soup along with scallop wontons in broth, both of which left us asking for seconds.

A burst of scrumptious savories followed in, the steamed fish and crabmeat Soi Mai topped with fish roe. The combination cold platter is a breath of fresh air with just the right fusion of beef, chicken, prawn, veggies and fruits.

Done to perfection, the various meats including chicken, beef, duck, fish and prawns as well as garden greens, make for a gratifying meal. Our faves were braised asparagus with mushroom sauce, crispy fried duck breast with sweet and sour plum sauce and wok fried tiger prawns in XO sauce.

All in all, the new Chinese menu by Dynasty is an exciting take on the regular Chinese and offers mad delicious appetizers and entrées with mouth-tingling spices that come in generous portions in a serene setting that is an absolute treat for the Oriental food lovers! Must try!
