Zara Tareen- featuring 6 unique Spring looks
The temperatures are rising and the change in season calls for a mini wardrobe revamp, to keep us in step with summer trends. We got together some of our favourite brands and designers and styled 6 simple looks on the multi-talented beauty, Zara Tareen.
T-shirt with a twist
Statement t-shirts are this season’s favourite, and simplest, new trend. New brand on the block, Radical, brings in minimal t-shirts that feature statements on social issues like gender stereotypes and climate change. We paired their cool ‘Paratha rolls’ tee with a midi skirt by ICON Clothing, adding a trendy pair of red cat eyed sunnies and pompom slippers by SOMA for a cool, casual look that screams spring!
Sporty Cool
Nothing says chic like Gulabo’s understated, minimal matching separates. We took this dark blue number and paired it with the quintessential white sneakers and a matching watch. Paired with a statement bag, because we love a bit of quirk, and a messy ponytail- this look is doable and cool for any occasion.
Two types of Urban Desi
Block printed kurtas are never going out of fashion, and here’s our take on two different kinds. For the first, we paired a boyfriend shirt style kurta by Blocked Textiles with black jeans and oversized hoop earrings. Again, this is a basic look for a coffee with your friends or a trip to the mall.
For the second look we went a bit more desi and elegant, pairing this pastel Wardha Saleem shirt with basic white pants and rose gold heels. To add a bit of oomph, we have a pair of dangling silver earrings and of course our favourite accessory this season- sleek, reflecting cat eye sunglasses!
Popping Colours
What says spring better than some vivid colours and statement pieces? This Maheen Karim jumpsuit in popping orange and pink was our top pick for formal spring wear. We paired it with a gold chain belt, statement earrings, and messy waves to keep the look effortless.
Statement Layers
What makes a statement better than one of Wardha Saleem’s avant garde pieces? Paired with simple white skinnies and black heels, the jacket does all the talking and shows why you need at least one such quirky piece in your wardrobe
