Summer Trends: Orange Is The New Black

We are super thrilled to see shades of burnt orange, rust and terracotta flooding the streets and runways in the form of accessories, skirts, blazers and shoes! I mean, we are suckers for the sun setting and filling the sky with glorious colours – so why not wear it?

The entire palette just sounds super delicious – and yes with a hint of fall, but why imagine wearing fall colours all year round and looking this good!

International street style and designers, like Valentino, Etro, DVF to name a few, have had the colour zoom down the runway and streets several times… with and without variations of it which makes it less bright and more golden hour with deep, earthy desert tones.

Pakistani designers, like Zaheer Abbas, Yasmin Zaman and Sublime by Sara have also had the trickle down effect in their collections recently and we could not be more thrilled to have these pieces filtering into our wardrobes, too!

It doesn’t end there – the accessories have dominated for a long, long time (take Hermes for instance with their classic bag!), but now we know this colour is a closet staple piece with literally every other high street or high end brand!

Add on a pop or orange to your eye make up, and you’ve hit the trifecta of beauty, fashion and accessories – this colour is here to STAY. Huda beauty in particular even has an entire palette dedicated to it!

In the most famous phrase these days, orange truly is the new black!
