"150,000 Have Recovered From Covid19 Globally" - Dr Zafar Mirza
Special Assistant for Health, Dr Zafar Mirza, reports in his brief, on the 30th of March 2020 - globally 1 lakh 50 thousand people have recovered as of today, there will continue to be an increase in recovery cases.
There are 1625 cases in Pakistan, out of which 883 had travel history from Iran and 247 are from other countries. Currently there are 745 patients who have tested positive are stable, showing signs of recovery while admitted at different hospitals across the country. The death toll has reached 21 so far with 5 deaths reported in the last 24 hours in Pakistan, with 99 more reported.
Dr Zafar Mirza has also thanked China for standing by Pakistan in this critical time, sending supplies as well as sharing healthcare experts and advice as Pakistan and China will continue to cooperate with each other under the China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) in the health sector as well in efforts to put a stop to the ferocious spread of coronavirus.
