For our 90s and 2000s viewers, lest you forget, we’re here to remind you of some of the fun things you loved as a kid. Why think about 2020 when you can bask in the glory of the decades that cemented your childhood? From Tekken to Super Mario, we’ve compiled a selection of games, tv shows and things that is guaranteed to make you feel a sense of nostalgia

Playing online games on an actual computer: Before there was Pokemon Go, there was Miniclip and Fireboy and Watergirl. I remember playing 8-ball-pool nd Raft Wars on Miniclip for hours- my brothers and I would take turns sitting at the computer battling our opponents.

Nintendo DS and Gameboys:

From Pokemon Black & White to Cooking Mama, these devices revolutionized games in the 90s-2000s. For many people, the Nintendo DS and Gameboy was their first introduction to popular gaming franchises and characters.

iPods:

The infamous iPod was released in 2001, and acted as a portable media player and multi-purpose pocket computer. Headphones in, handy iPod Nano in your pocket- ring any bells?

Gone Fishin’/Let's go Fishin’:

Before there were accessible games on your phone, there was Gone Fishin’, a game where you use a rod to catch fish as a board rotates.

Thundercats:

If you remember Cheetara or Lion-O and the fleet of Thundercats, you’re a true 90s-2000s kid. Although this show was released in the mid-80s, it ran on countless networks through the decades. Awesome characters, a cool concept and creative names- what else would you watch as a kid?

Everything Disney:

The OG Disney shows from the 90s-2000s ranged from Ducktales to the infamous Wizards of Waverly Place. We recall hours of Good Luck Charlie and The Suite Life of Zack and Cody.

Mighty Morphin Power Rangers:

Five teenagers don colourful suits and call on ancient powers to defend the Earth from the evil of Rita Repulsa, her monsters and minions. Power Rangers, a show released in the 90s, catapulted into popular culture after its initial release. Action figures, movies and power suits were sold to a massive fandom across the globe.

Sonic the Hedgehog:

You can’t call yourself a true 90s or 2000s kid if you haven’t of the infamous tales of Sonic the Hedgehog. The first Sonic game was released in 1991 and gained popularity. A video game, tv show, movie and action figure, Sonic took the world by storm.

Mortal Kombat:

An incredibly iconic franchise that began as a pixelated arcade game in 1992 grew to revolutionise fighting and action games in the 90s and 2000s. New versions and updates of Mortal Kombat are still being released on consoles everywhere.
