PM Imran Khan States That Pakistan Will Stand By Palestine

Prime Minister Imran Khan was quite stern on his decision of not recognising Israel until the Palestinians had an acceptable state. Following Pakistan’s decision was also Saudi Arabia who also refused to recognise Israel unless they signed an international peace accord with Palestine.

PM Imran Khan went on to emphasise, “The Quaid-I-Azam stated in 1948 that Pakistan could not recognise Israel unless Palestinians are given their rights to a just settlement. If we recognise Israel and ignore tyranny faced by the Palestinians, we will have to give up Kashmir as well, and this we cannot do.”

As important as it is to support those suffering internationally it is even more important to support those suffering within the country. PM’s decision to not recognise Israel was deeply appreciated by the Palestinian embassy in Islamabad but wouldn't it be deemed more important that PM Imran Khan fight for minorities suffering within the country as well?

"When you talk of Israel and Palestine, we need to think, will we be able to answer [God] if we abandon those people who have faced every kind of injustice and whose rights were taken away? My own conscience will never allow me to do this, I can never accept it," Khan stated.

We can see that PM Imran Khan shares ample sympathy with those who are suffering and so we should be open about those suffering within the country as well.
