Maya Ali, Armeena Khan & Celebrities Reflect on a Turbulent 2020

Celebrities have been looking back at 2020 and sharing their own experiences about the strenuous year of 'coronavirus' and how it has impacted the world, let alone Pakistan.

Going into the new year, Teefa in Trouble star Maya Ali has taken to social media to pen an emotional message; starting with describing 2020 as a 'roller coaster', the actress who will soon be seen on screen with Sheheryar Munawar in Pehli Si Muhabbat went on to describe 2020 as a tough year.

"Well the most beautiful thing about time is that it pass by, whether it’s good or bad."

The actress took to Instagram to write a heartfelt message about dealing with 2020 and its obstacles, going on to give fans and friends alike a positive notion of encouragement for the year to come.

"Now we have entered another year with a lot of hope, positivity and good thoughts and insha ALLAH this year will make them come true. I am grateful and thankful to all the people who were there with me through thick and thin this whole time."

Similarly, Mohabatein Chahatein took to her social media platform to acknowledge the lives lost in 2020 and the devastation caused by the global pandemic before ending the message on a hopeful note, "Here’s hoping for a safe and sound 2021 for everyone out there. Our world has changed and we must do things differently now to protect not only ourselves but others too."

Other celebrities have also left positive and inspirational messages for the year to come, such as Sarwat Gilani, Ahsan Khan, Zara Noor Abbas, Hareem Farooq, Umair Jaswal, Sidra Iqbal, to name a few.

2020 has been a difficult year, which has changed the way many people think and how mostly all of us function. Keeping in mind the lessons learned, we can go into 2021 with hopes of a positive year to come.
