Gigi Hadid's Love for Masala Causes Twitter to Lose It
The supermodel who has both Palestinian & Dutch heritage has unknowingly caused Twitter to blow up with tweets about her pregnancy cravings!
Hadid, who shares a daughter with British-Pakistani singer Zayn Malik, has already been in the news for a while due to snippets of her little baby shared now & then, but now she’s in the news for an entirely different reason! It seems that while Gigi was having quite the pregnancy cravings, she didn’t shy away from the spicier things in life by sharing a story with different containers of masala spices, including tumeric haldi, garam masala, tandoori masala and alas - a little glimpse of our very own Shaan Masala peaking out from the corner!
It seems that Hadid’s cravings did ‘more for South Asian representation’ than most advertising companies abroad do, to the delight of desi fans who truly related to her taste for the finer things.
Despite doing quite the brand representation for Shaan Foods, which we all understand, Gigi also gave a shout out to Pakistani artist Misha Japanwala, know for her immaculate sculpture art on Instagram, after the latter thanked the supermodel for helping her out during a dark time.
