Dubai's Burj Khalifa Broke Records With Its New Year Display

On New Years Eve Dubai's Burj Khalifa turned green, depicting Pakistan’s flag and banners of different nations the previous evening, wishing countries across the globe. Around 33 firecrackers lit up the skies simultaneously as the clock struck 12 in the UAE. Dubai's Burj Khalifa, Burj Al Arab, and the Dubai Frame; Sharjah's Al Majaz Waterfront; Ras Al Khaimah's Al Marjan Island; Ajman's Corniche; and Fujairah's Corniche showcased a display of beautiful firecrackers.

The skyscrapers also read out the message ‘Happy New Year 2021’ written in Urdu. Moreover, the structure reflected banners of different nations too. Back in August 2020, the popular tourist hotspot, (Burj Khalifa) showed the banner of Pakistan on its 74th Independence Day. These vacation spots in UAE and Turkey showed support to hail thoughtful relations with Pakistan.

Breaking records with its magnitude of festivities, Dubai’s buildings lighting up with flags were circulating across social media on Thursday and New Years day, welcoming the year with festivities and warm celebrations with our Emirati brothers showing Pakistan their brotherly support.

We hope to see this new year greeted with many special celebrations and good memories!
