The Best in Menswear This Eid ul Azha

It may seem that menswear is so much easier to get right - especially for Eid - since all men want is a simple shalwar kameez/kurta. While what men want may be a whole series altogether, even the assumption that menswear is easy is a bit far fetched. Even a simple outfit requires great finesse and intricate detailing to get it right. We picked three of our favorites this Eid.

Emraan Rajput

Recently awarded Best Menswear Designer at the Hum Style Awards, Emraan Rajput is an unassuming powerhouse of menswear. Previously seen as one who did a really good job at traditional wear, his recent Action Jackson line got us really excited about the contemporary lines and cuts Rajput delivered. His Eid ul Azha is a gentle reminder of his firm grasp over classic looks and cuts.

The traditional yet modern take on the kurta-pyjama is just exquisite. It is not over-the-top and is carefully grounded in contemporary masculinity.

Mohsin Naveed Ranjha

We cannot help but be charmed by Mohsin Naveed Ranjha’s Roti Boti Collection - an ode to the flavours of Lahore. Featuring street food classics along side a collection that is a little bit more than just a shalwar kurta, Roti Boti evokes the nostalgia of a ‘mohalla ki Eid.’ The easy breezy breathable fabric embellished with embroidery and paired with some daring colours, makes the collection an obvious choice for the young man who is not afraid to be the center of attention at the Eid dinner.

Pairing fashion with food is also a bit of a genius move, IMO. Do check out the Insta page for all the deliciousness.

Republic by Omar Farooq

Republic has always been on the cutting edge of Pakistani fashion - catering to an edgier, younger audience. But browsing through their Eid ul Azha collection, we could not help but we smitten by the classic waist coat or ‘coatee’ as it is often called. The quintessential desi waist coat adds instant class and grace to any shalwar kurta.

The abstract and floral digital printed waist coat over a Boski fabric shalwar kurta is definitely a keeper!
