Yumna Zaidi dominates the Lux Style Awards Nominations
Needless to say, Yumna Zaidi is Pakistan's favorite girl next door. With her doe eyed beauty, Yumna has captured the imagination of the Pakistani audience. However, she isn't just a pretty face. This 32 year old is a power house of acting talent. And with yet another spate of LUX Style Award Nominations for the young actress, Yumna is set to continue her domination as the reigining Queen of Television.
Nominated for the prestigous Best Actor (Female) Viewers' Choice Award 2021, Yumna is no stranger to the award, having picked up the trophy for the same in 2020 for the drama series Inkaar.
This year as well, Yumna Zaidi has been nominated along side industry heavy weights such as Ayeza Khan, Mawra Hocane, Hiba Bukhari, Saboor Ali and Sajal Ali. Interestingly, Yumna has been nominated in the same category, for her roles in Pyar kay Sadqay and Raaz e Ulfat. The double nomination is definitely a further consolidation of her popularity with the audiences.
However, Yumna is not just the people's golden girl. She has also been nominated for Best Actor (Female) Critics' Choice for her role in Pyar kay Sadqay at this year's Lux Style Awards.
So, what is it that makes Yumna so popular with both viewers and critics? Of course, her million watt smile can warm up anyone to her characters and the charm of her girl-next-door persona is easily relatable. It is also her acting prowess that allows her to take on challenging roles such as that of the widow of a fuedal in Pinjra and a rape survivor in Inkaar.
