SoPritti is Back! We Pick Our Fave Pakistani Women At The Show

The most sought after shopping event of the year is finally making a come back! SoPritti is back at it, this 16th of October 2021 at the Godolphine Ballroom, Jumeirah Emirates Tower, Dubai.

The SoPritti exhibits bring us the best of fashion and art from South Asia all under one roof. This year’s Wedding Festive edition is definitely one we are looking forward to. Aside from fashion, there will be a whole range of lifestyle solutions on offer including beauty and healthcare, home decor, jewelry and much more. The exhibit will show case more than 50 designers from Pakistan, Bangladesh, India and beyond - with some of the biggest names in fashion showing at the event - including the inimitable Rizwan Beyg.

Today we are showcasing four Pakistani women who's designs you can indulge in at SoPritti's Winter Festive edition this October.

Ayesha Somaya

The eponymous luxury womens’ wear brand will be returning to the SoPritti. Known for her excellent use of solid colors with embellishments and a fusion of Eastern and Western cuts, Ayesha Somaya is wildly popular with the South Asian diaspora. The brand’s understated yet luxurious aesthetic, particularly with the kaftans and sarees , is classy and elegant.

Ambreen Farrukh

A versatile Karachi based designer, Ambreen Farrukh who creates casual, formals and couture. We love the attention to detail and the consequent detailing of the embellishments in her pieces. A regular at So Pritti, Ambreen’s designs play with lots of color options, so there is something for everyone.

Aminah Badar

Specialising in formal and semi-formal wear, Aminah Badar’s Rosemary Bridal Edit has our heart. We hope she brings it to SoPritti! Besides bridals, Aminah also makes some beautiful wrap jackets and tunics, for less formal occasions perhaps. While we love a good splash of color, we mostly love Aminah’s more muted tones.

Ayesha Ellahi

Encompassing the entire spectrum of pret wear – casuals, semi formals and formal, Ayesha Ellahi is also a SoPritti regular. Her price range is quite varied, so there is bound to be something for everyone. We have our eye on a particular scarlet dupatta that is bound to set your heart racing. And they also have jewelry!

And that ladies and gentlemen, is just a teaser of all the festive, fab fashion you can get your hands on at the SoPritti Winter Festive exhibit. Save the date for 16th October 2021!
