Imagination, Innovation, Inspiration – that’s precisely what the annual Pakistan Advertisers Society Awards celebrate.
Held on 30th April at the Expo Centre, PAS Awards 2016 brought to limelight the ace mad men and women of Pakistani advertising industry who have proved their mettle.
A lavish Red Carpet lounge opened the event, where entertainment bigwigs like Sohai Ali Abro, Sheheryar Munawwar, Sarwat Gillani, Gia Ali, Fia Khan, Zhalay Sarhadi, Amna Ilyas, Atiya Khan, Yousuf Bashir Qureshi, Xille Huma, Tapu Javeri, Mantaha Maqsood, Atiqa Odho and many others were in attendance.
Hosted by Vasay Chaudhry, Ahmed Ali Butt and Rubya Chaudhry, the night turned out to be a star-studded gala, dotted by a number of wonderful performances by Ali Azmat, Sounds of Kolachi in collaboration with the performance troupe The Big Idea, the all-girls band from Nescafe Basement, Shaheer Khan, Saami Brothers and Kaif Ghaznavi, it was here that the ad world royals came head to head for the most esteemed titles.
This time around alongside the 12 regular categories, there were 9 special categories and 3 special awards. Pepsi Co walked away with the most wins: 4 awards, while Engro Group won in all 3 categories it had nominations in.
Pakistan Advertisers Society has once again done an admirable job with PAS Awards, where agencies and brands were lauded for groundbreaking ideas, superb campaigns, and seamless executions.
Until next year, the 6th edition of PAS Awards was and will remain the talk of the town bearing in mind the tremendous response from agencies and brands nationwide.
