The 4th edition of Pantene Hum ShowCase ‘20 has generated highly anticipated reactions in the fashion industry. Not only did it start out as platform to showcase local talent globally with the annual Bridal Couture Week, but it has created a platform to introduce pret, couture and luxury wear industries around the world.
The President of HUM Network, Sultana Siddiqui, spoke on the occasion at the 3rd edition, saying ‘HUM Showcase within a very short span of time, has taken over the fraternity with its top of the line production values, resulting in high-end fashion on the ramp and via broadcast globally.’ There was no shortage of inspiration, from designers such as Zaheer Abbas with his “Conceptuellè” collection, Deepak & Fahad presenting a memorable and innovative collection highlighting the epidemic of endangered species, Emraan Rajput’s “The Marquis” in men’s formal wear, to Pantene’s Rising Star Winner, 9Lines. The abundance of talent was overflowing with Sania Maskatiya, Mahgul, HSY, Sana Safinaz, Khaadi Khaas, and so many more phenomenal designers with no creativity lacking showcased their remarkable work; the runway saw it all!
Collections that were inspired by Global Crises, seasons, flowers to Anarchy, changing lives and history, heritage the variety is endless in this depiction of art through design in this illustrious occasion.
Coming back as the Show Director, the brilliant Rizwan Beyg, who with his Pearlessence collection last year paid homage to completing three decades in the fashion industry; and the great Raheel Rao, fashion guru and Editor-in-Chief of Diva Magazine, as the Senior Fashion Consultant and Advisor. This year’s showcase will introduce the legendary designers as well as new upcoming talents such as Afsheen Numair, and new, vivacious and impactful collections such as Amsal & Rizwan’s “Dusky Affair” along with more surprises and riveting designs which
will be gracing the runway along with the proficient array of adept models and celebrities, including Mushk Kaleem, Abeer Rizvi, Guzel Khurram, Aimal Khan, Ramisha Rafique, Subhan Awan to name a few. Joined once again by foreign talent and new faces from around the globe, including Alice Rowlands, Seshani, Timea Salma, Lucia, beauties from around the globe flying in for our annual HUM ShowCase ‘20!
Amplifying the exciting round up, the choreography format is beautifully simple, like international shows, single file which is further accentuated by the production design i.e. the set will maintain it’s signature style and composure, eloquent of poise and chic. Its quickly become the most prestigious platform for pret and designers are, by invitation, based on their work without bias. The show will be packed with oozing intricate and scintillating work by exceptional designers this year. Powerhouse, Sultana Siddiqui attests to this fantastic display of
