Rehana Saigol’s exclusive jewelry brand “Private Collection” held an exhibition at Nishat Hotel, Lahore from 3rd till 4th of April 2015.

The exclusive showing consisted of grandiose full sets of jewelry as well as opulent single pieces such as rings, earrings, bracelets, etc. crafted by artisans whose lineage spans across three generations of working with Rehana and Shakil Saigol.

“Our jewellery is unique, with each piece resonating echoes of generations of fine craftsmanship. The design work itself is a collaboration between myself, Shakil, our craftsman, and for our bespoke pieces, the client. At the time that we introduced our brand in 1983, jewellery consisted of generic designs rather than novel pieces that were individualized. I was fascinated by the huge spectrum of semi-precious stones and I wanted to use them with precious metals and diamonds to give them the importance they deserved to create pieces that stepped outside the norm. This was a shared vision that Shakil and I were both obsessed with and that manifested itself within Private Collection.” – Rehana Saigol
